Now that the basic trail has been completed, the Traildog Volunteers are planning to add new spurs and loops to enhance this wilderness trail.

In addition, two new reroutes are planned to eliminate the seasonal flooding that occurs each year.

New and enhanced directional signage, historical interpretive dioramas, and permanent blazes are being developed to assist hikers and bikers explore the many sections of this IMBA Epic trail.

All of these projects require funding, and we are requesting all users consider making a tax deducible donation for the benefit of the LOViT via our 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, Friends of Lake Ouachita, Inc.

Please join this effort to continually enhance and improve what is recognized as one of Arkansas Premier Hiking and Epic Mountain Biking Trail. NO donation is too small!
